Resources For You

Quiver is an app that I have downloaded to all our class iPad's. You will be watching some Youtube video first in order to see what the app does.

Then you will watch a tutorial on how to use the app.

You then have the option to find some of your own tutuorials if you think you need more help, or you can get started on the having a go.

Step 1: Watch the video on the left for an introduction of the Quiver App.

Think about what is happening. What is the iPad in the video doing to the colouring picture? How does it work?

Write a response in your technology book, you can add to it when you start to learn more.

Step 2: â€‹Click on the YouTube button and have a go at searching for your own Quiver video.

If you arent sure what to type in try things like:

"Quiver app"

"Quiver Introduction"

If you find a really good video, share it on the class blog.

Step 3: Grab an iPad and open the Quiver App.

 

will the app is open watch the tutorial video on the left, it will help you learn how to use the app. You can be looking at your iPad to see the buttons as well

If you think you are ready to have a go on your own CLICK HERE. This will take you to the page where you can print out your 2D colouring in sheet and start working.

Step 4: After everyone has started having a go at using the Quiver app. We will be writing step by step instructions as a class in our technology books.

The steps will help somone new to the class follow the instructions and be able to use Quiver to print, colour, play and make a film easily.

Step 5: Choose a new colouring sheet from the Quiver webiste and make a short video using the app.

The teacher will help you upload your finihsed video tot he class blog

Final Task

Your final task is to do some research to find another Augment Reality App that you can download on your iPad.

You can use Google, Youtube and the App Store to try and find an app that is about augmented reality.

​

Once you have found an app you will the learn how to use it and create a step by step instruction sheet for the class blog. The aim is to write instrcutions that are clear and simple so your friend in the class can follow your steps and learn how to use the augemented reality app.

​

You have a choice to either type out your instructions in a Word document, or you may film yourself using the iPad as a tutorial video.

​

The teacher will give you some helpful hints and you must share your ideas with your teacher before you start work on your instruction.
